Introduction to Peripheral Intravenous Cannulation (IPIC-Online) - Courses - Central (csds.qld.edu.au)
Course description 
This ONLINE learning course provides the fundamental knowledge required for Peripheral Intravenous Cannulation (PIVC) in an adult. The course covers the underpinning theory including preparation, the aseptic approach and insertion technique.
The online learning component has been designed to be complimented with a face-to-face workshop focusing on the practical skills needed to safely perform PIVC. Completing the online learning alone will not enable transition to clinical practice.
