The K2 Perinatal Training Program is an internet based interactive learning program which takes approx 16 hours to complete. The Teaching Package can be accessed from home, via the internet by staff registered for its use by the hospital - see link below. You will need to contact the Midwifery Educator – for LOGIN & PASSWORD details.

There are 4 sections to the Training System:

• Chapter 1: Acid Base Chapter - the physiology underlying intrapartum fetal monitoring and perinatal asphyxia
• Chapter 2: Cardiotocograph Chapter - CTG interpretation and labour management
• Chapter 3: CTG Simulator – maintain your CTG interpretation and labour management skills through the presentation of real cases
• Chapter 4: Assessment Tool
