The Routine Examination of the Neonate (Activity & Learning Package) has been developed for you to further extend your role developing the knowledge and skills required to competently perform a full and detailed examination of the well term neonate.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

In order to achieve completion of your assessment you will be required to successfully complete the  Routine Examination of the Neonate (Activity & Learning Package)and to complete a midwifery skills assessment for Examination of the Newborn. Submit to the Midwifery educator - evidence of competency can then be recorded on the Trendcare education database.
