Some of the newest books purchased and ready to borrow from the library include:

  • Head and Neck Cancer: treatment, rehabilitation, and outcomes (eBook) This book provides the most up-to-date evidence relating to head and neck cancer, its management, and its rehabilitation from a multidisciplinary perspective. Included are the contributions of a large team of internationally recognized experts from both the medical and allied health communities.
  • How to success at interprofessional education (eBook) An introduction to the principles and practice of interprofessional education (IPE). By examining the rationale behind IPE, its application, and the frameworks for using it effectively, the author demonstrates that when healthcare professionals learn together and collaborate as a team, they are able to improve decision-making, provide patients with a higher quality of service, and ultimately improve outcomes.
  • Nature-Based Allied Health Practice: creative and evidence-based strategies (eBook). The benefits of interacting with nature for our social, cognitive, and physical wellbeing are well documented. This evidence-based and accessible guide demonstrates easily workable, creative, tried-and-tested strategies for bringing nature into therapy. It includes simple and fun ready-to-go activity ideas. Using the life-course as a framework, the authors highlight the impact of nature at every stage of human development.
  • Hacking Healthcare: how AI and the intelligence revolution will reboot an ailing system (eBook) This book is about empowering clinicians and consumers alike to take control of what is important to them by harnessing the power of the AI and the Intelligent Health Revolution.
