Library Lovers Day

by Fiona Jensen on 2019-02-07T09:35:00+10:00 | 0 Comments

February 14 is Library Lovers Day, and there is love to be found in the LKC.

Come and see us at the LKC and enjoy a sweet treat, pick up a bookmark and check out our shadow puppet show! If you are not in Cairns, let us know and we will send you a bookmark. We will also post the shadow puppet show on our website for everyone to enjoy. Subscribe to our news blog so you don't miss it when it is released.

In honour of Library Lovers Day the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) is hosting a flash fiction competition. For more details see the ALIA website.

And for some evidence that there is love to be found in libraries, check out the TED Talk, "The 4am Mystery". Be sure to watch it to the end - it will give you goosebumps!
