Searching for evidence: What the LKC offers

LKC Searching for evidence guide includes literature searching & reviews, evidence based practice resources and research support

LKC COVID-19 arrangements
Library entry is limited to 40 people at any one time; clients must follow social distancing protocols and practice hand hygiene at all times. Do not visit the LKC if you are sick.

We are available from 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Fri; closed public holidays & weekends.

Training

We offer Database (Literature) searching and Searching for Evidence training in a variety of ways:

Face to face in LKC | In-service sessions at your workplace | Online sessions (Teams, Skype, Zoom)

Literature searching

We provide literature searches for patient care and safety, professional development, research and service development (work related).

For private study, we will coach you on how to plan and undertake a search using research databases. Contact us to make a time.


EndNote

EndNote is a referencing tool that is available to all Queensland Health employees. LKC offers training in EndNote, as well as ongoing support and troubleshooting. See our EndNote guide (link below) for more detailed information.
